About us

It's this simple: we felt there was a need for an outlet for acoustic type music in this area....so we started one...!

History

Some people may remember that there was once a folk club in the area, which met in Garstang centre pubs.
Perhaps you could drop us a line and let us know about those days - who played, fond memories, photographs, that sort of thing?
We might look to compile a spot on the website that records what went before us, and we'd like your input.

We will also have a page here for photographs of people who came to play at Garstang Unplugged
...so you might end up on the Worldwide Web...!

Meet the Team...

Don, Caroline, Pete and Sue
All four of us are local to the area. Don Moore has a passion for any type of good music and a considerable knowledge to match. He confesses to '...Having a soft spot for good girl singers who don't shout...!'
Caroline Lovett has been on the local music scene for a number of years, and is a singer/songwriter who plays guitar and violin. She also covers an eclectic mix of songs ranging from Gershwin to Country rock!
Pete Hardman has roots in the sixties/seventies and still likes to rock and roll. But along the way has been influenced by music from such as Crowded House and Eagles.
Sue Hardman was Flower Power, brought up on a diet of Genesis and Yes, and still dances in the kitchen like there's no one watching....
So, as you can see, we are open to all kinds of good music, from Roots to Acoustic Rock, Beatles to Bangles, Dylan to Donovan, Traditional to Tears for Fears! As long as you can play it acoustic, we'd like to see you.
